Your adventure begins in Arusha, where you will meet your professional safari guide and prepare for your first day of wildlife exploration. After a short briefing, you will depart for Arusha National Park, located close to the city and surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Mount Meru.
Arusha National Park offers a wonderful introduction to Tanzania's natural environment. The park features a variety of habitats, including montane forest, open grasslands, lakes and the slopes of Mount Meru. During your game drive, you may encounter giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes and numerous bird species.
Your guide will take you through different sections of the park depending on wildlife movements and the available time. The scenery itself is an important part of today's experience, with Mount Meru providing a dramatic backdrop to the safari.
Depending on your arrival time and interests, an optional guided nature walk or canoeing experience can also be arranged, subject to availability and park regulations.
After your exploration of the park, continue to your lodge for check-in. Enjoy the evening at leisure, followed by dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, meet your safari guide and begin your journey by road from Arusha toward Tarangire National Park. As you leave Arusha behind, the scenery gradually changes from the green surroundings of the city and Mount Meru region to the open landscapes and rural communities of northern Tanzania. The journey provides an opportunity to see local villages, farms and everyday life along the way.
Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park, enter the park and begin your game drive. Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant herds and magnificent baobab trees. The Tarangire River and other seasonal water sources attract wildlife, especially during the dry months. The park is also home to giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs and numerous bird species, while lions and other predators may also be encountered.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Your guide will select suitable routes according to recent wildlife movements, giving you the best possible opportunity for sightings and photography.
Later in the afternoon, leave the park and continue to your accommodation where you will check in and enjoy a relaxing evening after your first full day of wildlife viewing.
After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and continue toward the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife. The crater's enclosed ecosystem provides excellent opportunities for game viewing throughout the year.
Once on the crater floor, begin your game drive through a landscape of open grasslands, wetlands, woodland and other habitats. Depending on wildlife movements, you may have the opportunity to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and a wide variety of antelope species. With good fortune, you may also encounter the endangered black and white rhinoceros.
Your safari guide will carefully follow wildlife movements and explain the animals, vegetation and natural history of the crater throughout the experience.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated location while surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the crater. After lunch, continue with further game viewing before ascending from the crater later in the afternoon.
You will then drive back toward your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart from your lodge and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive of the safari. Explore the park's beautiful combination of groundwater forests, open plains and lakeshore habitats, with opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, hippos and a variety of bird species. Luckily, you may also spot the park's famous tree-climbing lions.
After the game drive and lunch, continue by road to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, meet your Zanzibar representative and transfer to your accommodation in Stone Town. The evening is free to relax or explore the surrounding area.
After breakfast, begin your Stone Town cultural and historical tour.
Stone Town is the historic heart of Zanzibar and offers a fascinating mixture of Swahili, Arab, Indian and European influences. Walk through its narrow streets while discovering the island's rich history, traditional architecture, old trading routes and cultural heritage.
Your guided tour can include visits to important landmarks and historic areas, as well as time to explore the local market and experience the atmosphere of this unique UNESCO World Heritage destination.
After the tour, continue your journey toward the northeastern coast of Zanzibar and the peaceful beach area of Matemwe.
Upon arrival, check in at your accommodation. The remainder of the day is free to relax after your cultural experience and enjoy the beach, swimming pool and beautiful Indian Ocean surroundings.
Enjoy dinner at leisure and overnight at the hotel.
Wake up to the peaceful atmosphere of Matemwe and enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Today is another opportunity to experience Zanzibar at your own pace.
