The information published on this website is provided for general travel information and planning purposes.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, itineraries, prices, availability, accommodation, transportation, activities, park regulations, and other travel conditions may change.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or correct website content without prior notice.
You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes or in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or interfere with the operation of the website.
3. Enquiries and Bookings
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not automatically constitute a confirmed booking.
A booking becomes confirmed only after Smartbrand Expeditions has accepted the booking and provided confirmation of the agreed arrangements.
Depending on the trip, confirmation may be subject to availability from accommodation providers, transport providers, national parks, airlines, activity operators, or other third parties.
The booking confirmation and agreed itinerary will specify the services included in your trip.
4. Prices
Prices displayed on our website may change depending on travel dates, group size, accommodation availability, season, activities, transport requirements, and other factors.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a quoted price should be understood together with the inclusions and exclusions provided in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Any additional services requested after confirmation may result in additional charges.
5. Payments
Payment requirements, payment methods, applicable deadlines, and any deposit requirements will be communicated during the booking process.
A booking may remain unconfirmed until the required payment has been received and the booking has been formally confirmed by Smartbrand Expeditions.
Where payment arrangements are specific to an individual booking, the terms communicated in the relevant quotation or booking confirmation will apply.
6. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
Cancellation and refund conditions may vary depending on the services booked and the policies of accommodation providers, airlines, national parks, transport providers, activity operators, and other suppliers.
The applicable cancellation, amendment, and refund conditions will be communicated to the client during the booking process or included in the relevant booking confirmation.
Where a third-party supplier imposes non-refundable or cancellation charges, those charges may apply to the client’s booking.
Smartbrand Expeditions will communicate applicable charges and available options to the client as soon as reasonably possible.
7. Changes to Itineraries
Travel arrangements may occasionally need to be changed because of circumstances including weather, road conditions, wildlife movements, park regulations, accommodation availability, operational requirements, safety considerations, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where a change is necessary, Smartbrand Expeditions will make reasonable efforts to maintain the overall quality and purpose of the trip.
Specific accommodation, routes, activities, or other arrangements may therefore be substituted with suitable alternatives when necessary.
8. Wildlife and Safari Experiences
Wildlife sightings are naturally unpredictable.
Smartbrand Expeditions cannot guarantee sightings of particular animals, including lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeest, or other wildlife.
Wildlife activities take place in natural environments and involve inherent risks. Guests are expected to follow the instructions of their guide, park authorities, accommodation staff, and activity providers at all times.
Guests must not leave designated vehicles or areas unless expressly instructed or permitted to do so.
9. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate personal and travel information.
- Ensuring that passports and other required travel documents are valid.
- Obtaining any visas, permits, vaccinations, insurance, or other travel documentation required for their circumstances.
- Informing Smartbrand Expeditions of relevant dietary requirements, mobility considerations, allergies, or other travel requirements before departure.
- Following the instructions of guides, drivers, accommodation providers, park authorities, and other service providers.
- Respecting local laws, cultures, communities, wildlife, and the environment.
- Taking reasonable care of personal belongings.
Failure to provide accurate information may affect our ability to deliver the agreed services.
10. Passports, Visas and Travel Documents
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they possess valid passports, visas, permits, tickets, and other documents required for their journey.
Travel requirements may vary depending on nationality, destination, transit points, and individual circumstances.
Clients should verify applicable requirements with the relevant authorities before travelling.
Smartbrand Expeditions may provide general travel guidance, but responsibility for obtaining and maintaining the required travel documents remains with the traveller.
11. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that travellers obtain appropriate travel insurance before their trip.
Depending on the nature of the journey, insurance may provide protection for circumstances such as medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, delays, baggage loss, or other unexpected events.
Travellers should carefully review their insurance policy to ensure that it provides appropriate coverage for their planned activities.
12. Health and Medical Requirements
Travellers are responsible for assessing their own ability to participate safely in their planned activities and for obtaining appropriate medical or professional advice where necessary.
Some destinations and activities may involve physical exertion, altitude, remote locations, wildlife encounters, or limited access to medical facilities.
Clients should inform Smartbrand Expeditions of relevant requirements or limitations before travel so that reasonable arrangements can be considered.
13. Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during their trip.
Smartbrand Expeditions is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Travellers should take appropriate precautions and maintain suitable insurance coverage for valuable belongings.
14. Third-Party Services
Some services arranged through Smartbrand Expeditions may be provided by independent third parties, including hotels, airlines, transport companies, activity operators, guides, park authorities, and other suppliers.
While we work with service providers that we consider appropriate, the availability and operation of third-party services may be subject to their own terms, policies, and operational conditions.
Where a service is provided by a third party, the applicable third-party terms may also apply.
15. Force Majeure
Smartbrand Expeditions shall not be responsible for failure, delay, interruption, or changes to travel arrangements caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, government restrictions, political or civil disturbances, road closures, strikes, transportation disruptions, changes in park regulations, security incidents, or other unforeseen events.
Where such circumstances affect a booking, we will make reasonable efforts to assist the client and identify available alternatives.
16. Photography and Content
During our tours and activities, photographs or videos may occasionally be taken for operational, promotional, or marketing purposes.
Where identifiable individuals are intended to be used in promotional material, Smartbrand Expeditions will seek appropriate permission where required.
Clients may contact us if they have concerns regarding the use of their image.

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, videos, designs, and other materials, belongs to Smartbrand Expeditions or is used with appropriate permission.
The content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, republished, or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
18. Limitation of Liability
Smartbrand Expeditions will take reasonable care in arranging and delivering the services described in the applicable booking.
However, we cannot accept responsibility for circumstances that are outside our reasonable control or for losses arising from the acts, omissions, or failures of independent third-party suppliers, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
19. Complaints
If you experience a problem during your trip, please notify your guide, driver, accommodation provider, or Smartbrand Expeditions as soon as reasonably possible.
Prompt notification gives us the opportunity to investigate the issue and, where possible, take appropriate corrective action during the trip.
If an issue cannot be resolved during the trip, clients should contact us using the details below after returning.

The latest version published on this website will apply to future website use and bookings, subject to any specific terms already agreed for an existing booking.
