Day 01 :

ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Transfer Duration: ~2 to 2.5 hours

Following an early morning pick-up from your Arusha hotel or arrival point, journey straight to Tarangire National Park. The sanctuary is celebrated for its dense elephant populations and giant, ancient baobabs framing the landscape. The central Tarangire River serves as a vital lifeline, drawing vast numbers of animals, particularly during dry spells.

Spend the day exploring open savannahs, seasonal marshes, and riverbanks with a packed picnic meal. Beyond giant elephant herds, keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, Cape buffaloes, impalas, lions, and elusive leopards, along with abundant bird species. As evening approaches, head up to the Karatu highlands for dinner and rest.

Day 02 :

NGORONGORO CRATER

Transfer Duration: ~40 to 60 minutes to the crater floor

This natural harbors an immense concentration of wildlife year-round, including vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, and gazelles, alongside hippos, elephants, lions, spotted hyenas, and the rare black rhino.

Relish a packed lunch surrounded by breathtaking views inside the caldera. Following an extensive morning and afternoon game drive, ascend back up the crater walls and return to your Karatu lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 03 :

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK & DEPARTURE

Transfer Durations: ~35 to 45 minutes to Manyara; ~1.5 to 2 hours to Arusha/Airport

Nestled beneath the steep Rift Valley escarpment, this compact park features lush groundwater forests, famous tree-climbing lions, and massive baboon troops. Additional frequent sightings include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and a diverse array of waterbirds.
