Experience an unforgettable 8-day Tanzania safari combining Tarangire, the Serengeti, the Ndutu plains, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. This itinerary is specially designed to place the Great Migration at the heart of your safari, with two full days in Ndutu, giving you more time to follow the seasonal movement of wildebeest and zebras and, during the calving season, witness newborn animals and the predators that follow them.

The journey begins in Arusha before heading to Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephants and spectacular baobab landscapes. From there, continue through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area into Central Serengeti before travelling south to Ndutu. Two dedicated days in Ndutu allow for a more relaxed and immersive migration experience without rushing between destinations. The safari continues to the Ngorongoro Crater for an exceptional wildlife experience before concluding with Lake Manyara and a return to Arusha.

Day 01 :

Arrival in Arusha – Overnight in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, approximately 1–1.5 hours away depending on traffic and your accommodation location. During the transfer, you can enjoy your first views of the Tanzanian landscape while your guide provides a brief introduction to the safari and the days ahead. After check-in, the rest of the day is reserved for relaxation and preparation for your adventure. You may also use this time to settle in, enjoy the surroundings, and rest before the safari begins the following morning. Overnight in Arusha.

Day 02 :

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive approximately 2–2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife areas. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and diverse landscapes that attract a wide variety of wildlife. During your full-day game drive, you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while surrounded by the natural scenery, followed by further game viewing in the afternoon. Later, depart Tarangire and drive approximately 2–2.5 hours to Karatu, arriving in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
