Northern Circuit

The Northern Circuit encompasses Tanzania’s most celebrated protected areas, including Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha National Park, and Mount Kilimanjaro. Dominated by open grasslands, acacia woodlands, granite kopjes, volcanic calderas, and alkaline rift valley lakes, this circuit offers high concentrations of megafauna and predator-prey dynamics. Supported by well developed road networks and high frequency domestic aviation links between Arusha and Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), it serves as the primary gateway for first-time safari visitors, Big Five enthusiasts, high-altitude trekkers, and travelers tracking the circular movements of the Great Wildebeest Migration.
